Isotope Motors and Rockstar Ridez Are Setting Out To Coyote Swap Your Lincoln

»»Isotope Motors and Rockstar Ridez Are Setting Out To Coyote Swap Your Lincoln

Robert Emery of Rockstar Ridez has been Coyote Swapping his builds since 2011. His work with cars like his Mercury Cougar and various Mustangs have stood out. Located in Chula Vista, CA Robert is no stranger to high end builds and builders. There is a plethora of talent on the West Coast and Rockstar Ridez is among them.  Robert has used our products before in his Coyote Swapped builds. Our Coyote Swap Accessory Drive was used on his Cougar project as one example. The story of this 64 Lincoln actually starts with a 61 Lincoln he was building and swapping a 351W engine into. During the swap a new customer arrived by the name of Ali(Isotope Motors). Ali had heard about Roberts work and wanted to check things out. They discussed building the 64 and what it would take to put a Coyote Powerplant to power it. After the meeting Robert went back to work on his current projects and just about forgot about the proposed build. Two months later without notice he got the call that Ali was ready to go.

The build began “building this Lincoln has been one heck of a journey” said Emery. The approach to the build was led by Ali who had some very specific requests. Things like the driveline angle needed to be just right to keep the engine square and flat in the bay. To do this Emery had to make a customer two piece driveshaft to help keep the differential happy. Doing this also helped with geometry when the bags were empty and the Lincoln was on the ground. Other major modifications came when the front suspension needed to be modded. A Crown Victory front k-member and control arms were plucked. After several versions they found a way to not only make things work, but fit with Ali’s vision in mind. The end result of hundreds of man hours and planning is what you see before you. A 64 Lincoln Continental, that like others before it, is just stunning to see. The Isotope Kennedy wheels set off the OE Lincoln look with a present day finish.
