Well when we say he is going Coyote, we are not referencing is well known 8 time winning True Street Fox that also completed Drag Week. We are indeed talking about Almond Joy which is his latest project. This coupe is a low production 1989 LX found in Arizona that has the Almond paint with Brown interior. A combination that less than 200 were produced he tells us.

So whats so special about this Mustang? I mean its some what of a rare Fox, its a survivor, and oh yeah it will have a Gen 2 Coyote under the hood with a VMP Supercharger, PBH brackets, all backed by a 6r80. So you can say this candy bar is gonna have nuts in it.

Combinations of this sort typically put out well over 650rwhp on pump gas so we can anticipate Mike will push the combo beyond that. To help make it all happen Mike chose our Accessory Drive Bracket kit to help put the VMP blower on top with both AC and Power Steering in place.  The plan is not to build another fire breathing True Street machine but to end up with street/strip Hatch with no cage to tip anyone off and a full stock interior to maintain its “docile nature”.

Along with the PBH components Jovanis chose some of the best products out there to complete the build. The mentioned VMP is a Gen II R, Suspension is by UPR Products including the all new Pro Street anti roll bar allowing 3 inch tailpipes, the proven Baer Brakes will be on board, with ARH Headers taking care of the business end of the exhaust, Stifflers crossmember holding the 6r80 in place, and some fuel rails from Behind Bars Race Cars.

We are looking forward to seeing this nut filled and coconut laced Mustang all done. I am sure we will see plenty of it online and in action soon enough.
